Job summary

AM Pierce & Associates, including Applied Technologies Group (ATG), seeks a Training Devices and Simulations Analyst to support CH-47F production and fielding at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The role focuses on acquisition, integration, test, and fielding of training aids and simulators.

You will apply CH-47F expertise to lifecycle management, verify training device fidelity, and coordinate with USG and contractor teams. A DoD clearance and a strong background in aviation training systems are essential.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret clearance required.
  • Bachelor's degree and at least eight years of relevant experience in military training systems, simulation, maintenance, aircrew, acquisition, test, or fielding.
  • Equivalent education and experience may be considered.
  • High School Diploma/GED and thirteen years of relevant experience as an allowable substitution.

Responsibilities

  • Apply CH-47F expertise to lifecycle management of flight simulators and training devices.
  • Develop, validate CH-47F TADSS requirements and assess fidelity and integration.
  • Support acquisition activities, reviews, risk assessments, and USG decision briefings.
  • Coordinate with USG, contractor, operational, engineering, logistics, test, training, and cybersecurity stakeholders.
  • Prepare technical reports, briefs, meeting minutes, action trackers, and program documentation.

The Position:

We are seeking a Training Devices and Simulations Analyst to support CH-47F production and fielding by providing technical, acquisition, integration, test, and fielding support for Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS).

The Description:
  • The analyst applies CH-47F operational and technical expertise to the acquisition and lifecycle management of flight simulators, maintenance training devices, and related training-system capabilities for U.S. Government (USG) and approved international program offices.
  • Responsibilities include developing, validating, and refining CH-47F TADSS requirements; assessing device functional and physical fidelity, technical integration, training relevance, and operational suitability; supporting acquisition activities, engineering and program reviews, risk assessments, and USG decision briefings; integrating CH-47F systems into training devices; and supporting test planning and execution, discrepancy analysis, verification and validation, acceptance, and fielding; coordinating with USG, contractor, operational, engineering, logistics, test, training, and cybersecurity stakeholders; supporting training-site integration, user feedback, and deficiency analysis; reviewing and providing technical input on aviation TADSS, cybersecurity, and information-assurance documentation; and preparing technical reports, briefings, meeting minutes, action trackers, and other program documentation.
Education & Experience:
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance, required.
  • Bachelor's degree and at least eight (8) years of relevant military training systems, simulation, maintenance, aircrew, acquisition, test, or fielding experience; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
  • Allowable Substitutions:
    • High School Diploma/GED and thirteen (13) years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrate CH-47F experience in maintenance, aircrew operations, instruction, training systems, technical support, or lifecycle management.
  • Working knowledge of CH-47F avionics, electronics, aircraft systems, and architecture.
  • Knowledge of DoW/U.S. Army acquisition, lifecycle management, training development, and TADSS processes.
  • Experience with aviation simulators, maintenance training devices, or related TADSS.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity or information-assurance requirements for training systems.
  • Strong written, briefing, coordination, and multidisciplinary team skills.
Travel:
  • On some occasions, the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site. In rare occasions, travel may be required.
