Job summary

Bangor University invites applications for a fixed-term, part-time post working on the North Wales Clinical Psychology Programme, based within the School of Psychology. The appointee will assist the Academic Director in organising the curriculum for trainees and act as a Training Co-ordinator for a small group of trainees.

The role allows a potential arrangement where the successful applicant remains employed by an NHS employer on current terms and is seconded to the University.

Qualifications

• Clinical psychology training programme coordination
• Collaboration with academic leadership and NHS partners
• Ability to organise curriculum for trainees and manage training quality

Responsibilities

• Assist the Academic Director in organising the curriculum for trainees.
• Act as Training Co-ordinator for a small number of trainees.
• Liaise with Local Health Board Clinical Psychology services to maintain partnerships and accreditation
