Job summary

Aalo Atomics in Idaho Falls, Idaho is seeking a multifaceted training administrator to ensure personnel are properly trained and qualified, to assign, schedule and track training, and to manage LMS records onsite.

You will ensure compliance with DOE, NRC, state and federal regulations, build qualification pathways, input training histories, and collaborate with the AI team to enhance the LMS and future features.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Update LMS with training already performed.
  • Create training plans, job codes, and qualified watchlists within the LMS.
  • Schedule classroom and vendor-provided training sessions.
  • Maintain training information within the LMS, including rosters and records.
  • Collaborate with AI department to improve LMS and add features; learn to code LMS for future improvements.
  • Ensure training case files are complete prior to course entry in the LMS.
  • Incorporate ISMS, Conduct of Operations & Maintenance, and Human Performance principles into training.

About the role

This is a multifaceted training role designed to provide instructional support through ensuring Aalo Atomics personnel are properly trained and qualified to perform their assigned tasks, as well as assign, schedule and track training.

You will ensure training activities are in compliance with company procedures and all applicable DOE, NRC, State, and Federal regulations.

A key need is the facilitated transfer of all training data into the Learning Management System and maintaining training records. You will create qualification pathways, individual training plans, job codes and input user information such as current qualifications, job codes, training histories, schedules, and records. Work with AI department to make improvements to the LMS and implement use of the LMS through training of new users and strategic gradated implementation of features as they become available.

Management prefers candidates with experience in administrative duties within a Learning Management System.

What you’ll do
  • Update LMS to include training already performed.

  • Maintain training information within the LMS, including rosters and records.
  • Work with AI department to improve LMS and add features. Learn how to code LMS for future improvements.
  • Ensure training case files are complete prior to course entry in the LMS for tracking.
  • Ensure operational excellence is incorporated into training, including Conduct of Operations & Maintenance, ISMS, and Human Performance principles.
  • Apply the principle of ISMS-CCR, Systematic Approach to Training, and a Graded Approach in all aspects of job execution.
  • Complete other administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to work onsite in Idaho Falls and communicate remotely.
Preferred
  • 10+ years training administration
  • Strong communication skills, ability to handle multiple projects, good time management skills, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work under pressure. Flexibility and creativity in developing and presenting engaging training. Have a thorough understanding of nuclear operations and conduct of operations.
  • Familiar with Systematic Approach to Training and NE O 426.2, "Personnel Selection, Training, Qualification, and Certification Requirements for DOE Nuclear Facilities," as well as ASME NQA-1 2022, “Quality Assurance Requirements for Nuclear Facility Applications,” Requirement 2.
