Job summary

Pherson seeks a Training Analytics Developer – Senior to lead advanced data analytics for training and certification programs. You will apply sophisticated techniques to interpret complex data, derive insights, and support decision-making, while guiding system enhancements and capability development.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance with CI poly eligibility, on-site work in Springfield, VA, and a full-time schedule with standard hours Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with MS Office, data mining, ability to develop and manipulate, and maintain databases.
• Experience using SPSS, SAS, MATLAB, MS Office, and Access; Windows environment.
• Experience with stats analysis tools and data visualization (Tableau).
• Ability to develop mathematical algorithms for complex requirements.
• Identify systems enhancements and new capabilities; lead teams.
• Provide training as systems move into operation.
• Excellent oral and written communication; strong teamwork.
• Experience with certification programs and policy development.

Overview:

Pherson is seeking a Training Analytics Developer – Senior to lead advanced data analytics efforts in support of training and certification programs. This role applies sophisticated analytical techniques to integrate and interpret complex data sets, develop insights, and drive strategic decision-making. The position also guides system enhancements, supports capability development, and provides leadership across technical teams and initiatives.

This position is contingent upon contract award with an anticipated start date of August 1st, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

• Familiarity with MS Office, data mining, ability to develop and manipulate, and maintain databases.
• Demonstrated experience using COTS statistical software (SPSS, SAS, MatLab etc.), COTS desktop software (MS Office and Access), and the Windows operating environment.
• Demonstrated experience with software packages used for advanced statistical analysis of operational data and tools for data visualization (Tableau).
• Ability to develop mathematical algorithms and applications in response to complex requirements.
• Ability to identify systems enhancements and new capabilities, concept demonstrators, capability business cases.
• Ability to provide training as new systems and capabilities move into operational use.
• Ability to take leadership roles on technical teams or consortiums
• Demonstrates good oral and written communication skills, along with good interpersonal skills and an ability to work cooperatively and effectively as a team member

Desired Skills:

• Experience working with/on certification programs and policy development
