Job summary

AtUtiliQuest, LLC is seeking a Trainee Locator to learn safety rules and techniques for locating underground utility lines. You will work with experienced locators, use specialized equipment, and record findings to help keep construction projects safe and efficient.

As a trainee, you will develop an understanding of local utility infrastructure and regulations, participate in marking lines, and perform duties in all weather conditions while growing your skills on the job.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid State driver's license with acceptable MVR record.

Responsibilities

• Learn utility locating techniques, safety protocols and how to operate equipment
• Develop an understanding of local utility infrastructure and regulations
• Partner with experienced Locators to mark underground utility lines
• Operate utility locating equipment
• Document findings using digital mapping tools
• Perform work in all weather conditions
