UtiliQuest, LLC is seeking a Trainee Locator to learn safety rules and techniques for locating underground utility lines. You will work with experienced locators, operate specialized tools, and document findings to support safe construction projects. The position requires 18+ years old, U.S.

work authorization, and a valid driver's license with a clean record. Training is hands-on, with opportunities to grow within a supportive team in Baton Rouge and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid State driver’s license with acceptable MVR record (not Provisional).

Responsibilities

• Learn utility locating techniques, safety protocols and how to operate equipment.
• Develop an understanding of local utility infrastructure and regulations.
• Partner with experienced Locators to mark underground utility lines.
• Operate utility locating equipment.
• Document findings using digital mapping tools.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
