Job summary

Fleet Glass Services is seeking a Glass Technician to join our skilled team in the Charlotte area. You’ll install, repair, and replace windshields and glass on fleet vehicles and heavy equipment, traveling to job sites with a company vehicle provided.

Work focuses on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. You’ll diagnose damage, ensure compliance with manufacturer specs, and maintain a tidy, organized workspace while communicating clearly with clients and teammates.

Qualifications

Proven experience in automotive or heavy equipment glass installation (or a strong desire to learn).
A commitment to safety and attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Installing, repairing, and replacing windshields and glass on fleet vehicles and heavy equipment
Diagnosing glass damage and recommending appropriate solutions
Ensuring all work meets safety standards and manufacturer specifications
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Communicating clearly with clients and team members
Traveling to job sites as needed (company vehicle provided)
