Job summary

Cassia's Moose Lake Village is hiring a Trained Medication Aide (TMA) part-time, including every other weekend, with day and swing shifts in Moose Lake, MN. You will administer medications, assist with daily living, and follow care plans while maintaining resident safety and independence.

Ideal candidates hold MN CNA and TMA certifications, have strong communication, and can stand for an 8-hour shift. Competitive benefits apply within the Cassia community.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota Nursing Assistant certification required.
• Must hold current TMA certification in Minnesota.
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer medications in accordance with Moose Lake policies.
• Help residents reach and maintain independence while assisting with personal care and daily activities.
• Review and follow a written care plan.
• Measure and record vital signs on new computerized software.
• Assist with resident cares such as answering light calls, feeding and helping to bathroom.
• Observe resident behavior and report changes to supervisor.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Job description

Moose Lake Village, a Cassia senior community, offering skilled nursing services and memory care to seniors, is hiring a Trained Medication Aide (TMA) to join our team. As a Trained Medication Aide, you will administer medications according to policy, assist residents with personal care and daily activities, monitor vital signs and behavior, and help maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful living environment. Our ideal candidate is a team player who is also comfortable working independently.

Position Type

Part-Time including every other weekend

Available Shifts

• Day Shifts 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Mix of Evening and Night (NOC) Shifts: 2:15 PM - 10:45 PM and 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Pay Range

$23.64 - $24.85 / hour depending on experience

Shift Differential

• Evenings $1 / hour
• Nights $2 / hour

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer medications in accordance with Moose Lake policies.
• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Review and follow a written care plan.
• Measure and record vital signs including pulse, temperature, and blood pressure on new computerized software.
• Assist with various resident cares such as answering light calls, feeding and helping residents to the bathroom.
• Observe resident behavior and report any changes in condition or behavior to supervisor.
• Perform other duties as requested.

• Current Minnesota Nursing Assistant certification required.
• Must hold current TMA certification in Minnesota.
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Must be able to stand for length of 8-hour shift.
