Job summary

Gordon Food Service, Inc. is seeking a wash technician to clean and maintain wash bay areas and all equipment. The role involves washing equipment interiors and exteriors, fueling and lubricating as needed, and keeping records in a safety-conscious environment.

Ideal candidates can work independently or in teams, with strong English communication and adherence to safety procedures. This position requires operating equipment and may require a CDL depending on location, and pre-employment drug

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate equipment and have appropriate operator’s license.
• Must be 21 years of age (only if CDL required for location).
• Ability to work independently or within a team environment.
• Must be able to write and communicate effectively in English.
• Must adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
• Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Wash the interior and exterior of all equipment.
• Maintain required records.
• Fuel and lubricate equipment as required.
• Perform minor repairs in vehicle maintenance facility as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
