Amerit Fleet Solutions in Allentown, PA is seeking a skilled Trailer Technician/Mechanic to service trailers on a Monday–Friday 2:00pm–10:30pm schedule. Earn $30.00–$38.00 per hour with weekly pay and full benefits after 30 days.

This role requires 2+ years of hands-on trailer maintenance, a valid driver's license, and the ability to manage your own tools. You will diagnose, repair, document work orders, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years’ of hands‑on experience performing class 7 - 8 trailermaintenance and repairs
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position (detailed below)
• Ability to successfully pass a background check, pre‑employment drug screen, and DOT physical if required for the role

Working Conditions

This role involves working in a mobile, outside and/or shop environment with exposure to dust, diesel fumes, noise, and mechanical materials such as oils and greases. Technicians must be able to perform essential job functions that include frequent movement such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods, as well as lifting heavy objects and accessing tight or confined spaces. This position requires regular use of hands to grasp, reach, handle, and operate tools and equipment. Technicians may be required to work at heights using ladders or elevated platforms and must be able to safely perform duties in various weather conditions. Due to the active work environment and movement of large vehicles, the ability to see and hear sufficiently to safely navigate the workspace is required.
