U-Haul is seeking skilled technicians to maintain trailers and Ford/GMC trucks, with a focus on the latest equipment and the opportunity to grow through our Technician Training Program.

The role offers a structured path with a $100 Hiring Bonus and a strong team culture. Prospective technicians will work on a production line, perform tire/brake maintenance, and use U-Haul’s proprietary tools to inspect and repair field vehicles.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude with 1–2 years of repair experience preferred.
• Driver’s license required.
• Ability to work as part of a team and individually.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Secure trailers on lifts and dollies.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Rebuild and repair braking systems and trailer components.
• Dismount, balance and mount tires.
• Occasionally road-test vehicles.
• Work on a production line.
• Use proprietary electronic pre-inspection and repair checklist.
