U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a Trailer and SRI Repair Specialist to maintain the newest fleet and ensure reliable service for customers.

You’ll perform mechanical maintenance on trailers and Ford/GMC trucks, participate in a paid hands-on interview, and join a team known for its long-term retention and family atmosphere. Responsibilities

• Secure trailers on lifts and dollies.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Rebuild and repair braking systems and trailer components.
• Dismount, balance and mount tires.
• Occasionally road-test vehicles.
• Work on a production line.
• Use proprietary electronic pre-inspection and repair checklist.
• Support other areas as needed under supervisor guidance.

Trailer and SRI Repair Specialist Primary Responsibilities:

• Secure trailers on lifts and dollies.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.

• Team Members are expected to willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.

Since 1945, U-Haul has been serving do-it-yourself movers and their households. Like many other successful ventures, the concept for U-Haul was generated out of need.
