Job summary

Thermo King West is hiring a Trailer Repair Technician in Delmar, DE for a full-time, in-person role. The position offers 40 hours per week with occasional overtime and a clear path from Apprentice to Journeyman to Expert.

At Apprentice/Journeyman/Expert levels, you will perform PMs, DOT inspections, brake and suspension work, and welding as needed. Training, safety, and teamwork are emphasized throughout the progression.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Participation in a one-year Apprenticeship Program.
• Basic welding capability or training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform PMs, BIT, and DOT inspections.
• Diagnose and repair lighting and electrical systems on trailers.
• Replace brakes, suspension, and related components; MIG-weld as needed.
• Operate power tools and coordinate with the team to meet customer needs.
• Follow safety rules and company attendance policies.
