Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. seeks a DST Trailer Mechanic Trainee for the D shift in Russellville, LH Garage. You will perform routine preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers, diagnose engine systems, and communicate with transportation personnel.

This role requires readiness to advance to ME02 within 12 months, basic welding and electrical skills, reading manuals and schematics, and a valid driver's license. Three months with a single employer in the last six months is preferred; relocation is not

Qualifications

• Three months of employment with a single company in the last six months preferred.
• Advance to ME02 within 12 months of hire.
• Proficiency with preventive maintenance processes.
• Ability to read manuals and schematics.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers.
• Diagnose and repair truck engines and systems using diagnostic programs.
• Carry out basic structural welding and cutting tasks.
• Document daily work orders and maintain records.
• Possible service calls at remote locations.
