Qualifications

• DOT safety and maintenance compliance knowledge.
• DOT inspections and repairs for various customers.
• Ability to prepare material lists for repairs.
• Experience with electrical, brake systems, suspensions, landing gears, lift gates and PM inspections.
• T1 trailer inspections, troubleshooting, minor repairs, welding, and DOT compliance.
• Diagnose and repair trailer and vehicle electrical problems; routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assess and repair mechanical defects ensuring safety and DOT compliance.
• Conduct and document DOT inspections and repairs for customers.
• Prepare material lists for required repairs.
• Handle electrical, brake, suspension systems, landing gears, lift gates, and PM inspections.
• Perform T1 inspections including troubleshooting, minor welding, and DOT compliance.
• Diagnose trailer and vehicle electrical issues; perform routine maintenance.
