The role requires 4 years of fleet trailer maintenance and repair experience, FMCSRs/DOT compliance knowledge, air brake certification, and strong communication skills. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage; schedule is 5 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mon–Fri, with some Saturdays.

Qualifications

• 4 years of fleet trailer maintenance and repair experience (Up to 2 years can be credited for technical training or schooling).
• Working knowledge of FMCSRs and DOT compliance requirements.
• Air brake certification.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on trailers, converter dollies, light-duty vehicles, and other company equipment—always following federal, state, and local requirements.
• Complete a variety of routine maintenance tasks on trailers, such as PM inspections, FHWA inspections, and general repairs and maintenance.
• Diagnose, repair, and replace electrical components on trailers.
• Pitch in with general cleaning and shop upkeep.

HIRING IMMEDIATELY: TRAILER MECHANIC IN WYOMING, MI

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Trailer Mechanic to join our team in Wyoming, Michigan. This individual will be responsible for helping to make sure our trailers and equipment stay safe, reliable, and ready for the road through inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess 4 years of fleet trailer maintenance and repair experience, working knowledge of FMCSRs and DOT compliance requirements, air brake certification, communications skills, and strong work ethic.

Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Starting at $30/hour
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• 5 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday, with some Saturdays
• Located in Wyoming, Michigan
