Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide variety of trailer repairs, preventive maintenance, installations, replacements, and diagnostics.
  • Work on semi-trailers and related equipment in compliance with DOT/OSHA and company standards.
  • Ensure repairs are completed efficiently, accurately, and safely.

We are looking for a Trailer Mechanic to join our team of trailer professionals. Responsibilities:

Perform a wide variety of trailer repairs. Including preventive maintenance, installations, replacements, and diagnostic tasks for various makes and models of semi-trailers and related equipment in an efficient, timely, accurate, professional, and safe manner in accordance with all Company policies, DOT, OSHA and other governmental standards and regulations.

Requirements:
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year experience as a heavy-duty truck or trailer mechanic. Apprentice mechanic program also available.
  • Must have knowledge regarding the safe handling and operation of trailers.
  • Experience with fabrication, suspensions, air brakes, electrical systems, liftgates, body repair and welding is a plus but willing to train.
  • Must present a professional, highly motivated, positive, result oriented, problem-solving attitude.
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Must have own hand tools. Some tools provided if enrolled in Apprentice program.
  • Must adhere to all Company policies including safety policies and regulations.
  • Must pass standard pre-employment drug test.
