Smurfit Westrock in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Trailer Repair Technician to perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on company trailers and related equipment. You will ensure safe, reliable fleet operations by documenting work accurately and maintaining an organized shop area.

Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical, electrical, air-brake, and suspension systems; performing welding and fabrication as needed; and communicating repair priorities to the Fleet Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years trailer/mechanical experience preferred.
• Able to read work orders and service information.
• Valid driver license may be required.
• Welding certification preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Inspect and repair trailers and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnose and repair braking, electrical, suspension systems.
• Document inspections and repairs in maintenance system.
• Coordinate parts and tools.
