Job summary

Imperial Brady in Rochester, NY is seeking a Trailer Driver/Class A Delivery Driver to join our transportation group. The role involves delivering to customer locations on a daily route, unloading via hand, pallet jack, and lift gate, and providing exceptional service.

The schedule is Monday - Friday, 6:00AM - 2:30PM. A valid CDL A license, ability to pass a DOT medical exam, and a clean driving record with 1 year of CDL A and route delivery experience are required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of CDL A and route delivery experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate pallet jack/lift gate safety.

Responsibilities

The Trailer Driver/Class A Delivery Driver will be responsible for a route of daily stops. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly, and delivering the merchandise to the customer-designated location. The essential aspects of this position are delivering and providing exceptional customer service.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 6:00AM - 2:30PM.

You will:

• Safely operate a 53’ truck or smaller
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after trips
• Communicate with customers with a positive, outgoing attitude

You have:

• A valid commercial driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
• A good driving record
• 1 year of recent CDL A experience
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Ability to handle a physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
• Lift gate experience
• Strong work ethic
