Job summary

South Suburban Parks and Recreation District is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Trails for full-time, non-exempt work. The role includes maintaining trails, parking areas, bridges and drainage systems, with potential weekend/evening shifts and snow watch duties. Applicants should be at least 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Position requires a valid Colorado driver's license; CDL preferred. The hiring range is $42,065 to $47,708 annually, with benefits and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of skilled labor experience in park/trail maintenance or related public sector work preferred.
• Combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Class A Commercial Driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain trails, parking lots, bridges and drainage systems to district standards.
• Operate and maintain district tools, equipment and vehicles safely.
• Record maintenance activities and prepare daily reports.
• Respond to inquiries and problems promptly per district policies.
