Job summary

Town of Flower Mound Public Works is seeking skilled team members to install, repair, fabricate and maintain traffic signs and markings, in compliance with TMUTCD/MUTCD, and to perform routine maintenance on division equipment and Cityworks work orders.

You will set up work zones, deploy traffic counters and boards, perform pavement markings with thermoplastic, paint, epoxy, and buttons, assist with traffic signals, handle on-call emergencies, and support special events while maintaining safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; clean driving record.
• Must obtain Class A CDL within 6 months; IMSA Level I within 1 year.
• Experience with traffic signs/markings a plus; familiarity with TMUTCD/MUTCD.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, maintain, and fabricate traffic signs and markings.
• Set up work zones, traffic counters, and signs per TMUTCD/MUTCD.
• Complete daily field reports and Cityworks work orders.
• Assist Traffic Signals section and participate in special events.
