Job summary

Utilities Service, LLC is seeking a Traffic Signal Technician to install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair street lights and traffic signals, including high‑mast lighting. The role is full‑time with potential overtime and may require travel within Georgia.

Responsibilities include supervising Traffic Signal Laborers, reading blueprints, operating bucket trucks and other equipment, and ensuring safety and compliance. A CDL within 120 days is required or preferred; IMSA is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to read blueprints/plans and construct per plans.
• Able to direct and oversee Traffic Signal Laborers.
• Able to operate equipment to install signal items (Bucket Truck, Digger Derrick/Boom Trk).
• Willing to work full-time with overtime during holidays, emergencies, weekends, etc.
• Willing to obtain a Class A or B CDL within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and assists with installation, maintenance and repair of street lighting and traffic signal equipment.
• Provide daily report of operations, material needs and issues to the General Foreperson.
