Job summary

Gulfshoresal is seeking a field technician to install, test, repair and maintain traffic signals, school zone flashers and related communications gear in Texas. You will handle field equipment, cable connections and documentation while lifting up to 50 pounds and working at heights up to 50 feet.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, advanced electronic training, IMSA certification preferred, and must obtain a Texas Class A CDL within six months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; IMSA certification preferred.
• Advanced electronic training and hands-on experience desired.
• Must be able to obtain Texas Class A CDL within six months.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, repair and maintain traffic signals and related equipment.
• Operate equipment such as dump trucks, backhoes and bucket trucks.
• Maintain work orders, status reports and on-call rotation participation.
