Job summary

Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) seeks an entry level technician to support OMAT, maintenance, construction, intermodal, planning, utilities, surveying, environmental or traffic areas. Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, and repair of traffic control devices.

Requires basic reading/writing, math skills, and physical ability to lift and work at heights; a Class A or B CDL is preferred. This is a full-time, day shift with rotating after-hours on-call duties.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair traffic control devices and related equipment.
• Operate and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
