Qualifikationen

• Experience with Gridsmart and Iteris camera systems.
• Experience installing and testing CAT5 cable and RJ-45 connectors.
• Familiarity with traffic signal control cabinets, MMUs, and signal controllers.
• Ability to program detection zones and configure controllers.
• Safety-focused with ability to work in traffic environments.

Aufgaben

• Install and maintain traffic signal camera systems (Gridsmart, Iteris).
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair camera and detection equipment.
• Install CAT5 cabling and test RJ-45 connections.
• Program and adjust detection zones to optimize flow.
• Work in signal cabinets; upgrade controllers and MMUs.
• Coordinate with VDOT/municipal staff and vendors.
• Provide after-hours support for outages and emergencies.
