Job summary

City of Conroe is seeking an Assistant Sign Technician to plan, coordinate and direct activities within the sign department to provide Traffic Management Services. This role reports to the Street & Drainage Superintendent and supports city traffic operations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least three years of experience in traffic markings, sign installation and maintenance, plus a valid Texas Class A CDL.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in traffic markings, sign installation and maintenance.
• Must possess a valid Texas Class A Commercial driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and direct activities within the sign department to provide Traffic Management Services.
• Assist in city traffic operations under the Street & Drainage Superintendent.
• Ensure compliance with City policies and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support road safety and signage projects.
