Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a Traffic Safety Protector to join our field team. You will set up and take down traffic control equipment such as cones, signs and barricades at job sites, and guide traffic with stop/slow paddles while monitoring site activity to maintain safety for workers and the public.

The role requires standing or walking for long periods, lifting 40–50 pounds, working outdoors in various weather, and having a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand or walk for long periods.
• Able to lift 40–50 pounds.
• Willingness to work in traffic and changing weather.
• Reliable and punctual attendance.
• Able to pass pre-hire screening including a drug test.
• Respectful attitude toward coworkers, clients, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Set up and take down traffic control equipment (cones, signs, barricades) at job sites.
• Guide traffic using stop/slow paddles.
• Monitor site activity and enforce safety rules.
• Communicate effectively with crew and supervisor.
• Keep vehicles and equipment clean and safe.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
