Job summary

Barry Isett & Associates Inc is seeking a Project Manager in transportation to lead traffic engineering and analysis projects across the Northeast PA region. You will guide a team of transportation engineers, manage diverse assignments, and foster strong client relationships with municipal, institutional, and private-sector clients.

This role offers growth within a collaborative, ESOP-enabled firm with opportunities to shape project delivery, mentoring, and career advancement.

Qualifications

• B.S. Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.
• Synchro & HCS experience.
• Technical knowledge in cost estimating.

Responsibilities

As a multi-discipline firm, Isett provides a full range of engineering and consulting services, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, environmental, geotechnical, and municipal engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, code enforcement, plan review, construction management, construction materials testing, and grant writing services to clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Isett's transportation services department is looking for a Project Manager with 5 to 15 years of Traffic engineering and analysis experience, including PennDOT approval experience, who is ready to take on meaningful projects and help guide the continued growth of the team.

You will lead and mentor transportation engineers, manage a variety of transportation projects, and build trusted relationships with municipal, institutional, and private-sector clients. This position can be based out of any of Isett's Northeast PA offices, giving you flexibility while staying connected to a collaborative regional team.

In this position, you will help deliver a full range of transportation services for municipalities, school districts, and private-sector clients, including:

• Traffic Impact Studies
• Safety Studies & Audits
• Traffic Signal Retiming
• Traffic Signal design
• Traffic-calming design
• School-zone design
• Intersection design
• PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permitting (HOP)

Requirements

• B.S. Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Synchro & HCS Experience
• Technical knowledge and/or previous experience in areas such as equipment selection, and cost estimating
