Job summary

American Structurepoint is offering a Traffic Internship in Indianapolis to support roadway design projects and engineering reports under supervision. Interns gain hands-on experience with Microstation/Geopak and AutoCAD while contributing to real projects in multiple locations.

Ideal candidates are current students in Civil or related engineering programs, with reliable transportation, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Civil, Environmental, Construction, Land Survey, Structural or related engineering programs.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to roadway designs, lay out alignments, and create typical sections, site assessment and engineering report development.
• 3D modeling and work with Microstation/Geopak, AutoCad, Blubeam, Open Bridge, Merlin Dash, Quick Bridge
• Projects include Roundabouts, Bridge Replacements and Rehabilitations, Urban/Rural Roads and Large Interstate Improvements
• Other duties as assigned

• Current student majoring in any of the following disciplines: Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Land Survey or Structural Engineering or other related programs with an emphasis on Civil Engineering
• Reliable transportation to and from office location
