HNTB Corporation in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join the Traffic Group for Fall 2026. This on-site, part-time internship offers exposure to traffic and transportation design, analysis, and construction support while you are enrolled in an accredited engineering program.

This internship is offered on a part-time basis. Interns will gain exposure to traffic design (including signal design, signing design, pavement marking design, signal communication design and intelligent transportation design), traffic analysis, traffic forecasting, construction support and multidisciplinary infrastructure projects. This opportunity entails being responsible for assisting assigned department(s) and/or project(s) by performing basic engineering related tasks which may reflect elements of standard post-secondary engineering curriculum.
