Job summary

Assist Services, LLC is seeking reliable Traffic Flaggers for the Clarksburg, WV area. You will set up traffic control devices and direct vehicles to maintain safe work zones in line with MUTCD standards.

We offer day and night shifts, paid training, PPE provided, and benefits after probation. A valid driver's license with a clean record is required, along with the ability to travel and learn on the job.

Qualifications

• No experience required, but must be willing to learn.
• Must pass criminal background check, work verification check, 10-panel drug screen, and fit-for-duty physical.
• Able to stand or sit for extended periods and work 8–12 hour shifts.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely set up road signs, traffic cones, and equipment to direct traffic around the work area.
• Control oncoming traffic with signs to ensure safe operation of road crews.
• Be knowledgeable of surrounding roads to redirect traffic if needed.
• Communicate with crew via radios, hand signals, or flags.
• Follow company policies to ensure safety of workers and motorists.

Traffic Flagger – Clarksburg, WV

Assist Services is holding open interviews for Roadway Flagging positions!

Interviews will be from 10a-3p on Tuesday, September 22nd located at Hampton Inn 1515 Johnson Ave., Bridgeport, WV 26330.

Assist Services has immediate openings for Construction Flaggers in the Clarksburg area. ASL works in all phases of Traffic Control and flagging for roadway utility work.

As a Flagger, you will be setting up work zones along the roadway, per MUTCD Standards, and controlling the flow of traffic to ensure a safe work zone for our customers.

• Day and Night shift available.
• All work is performed from company vehicles
• All equipment, trainings, and PPE provided

Noexperience is required but our customers have strict guidelines and safety requirements, and youmustbe willing and able to learn.

Daily Job Responsibilities

• Safely set up road signs, traffic cones, and/or any other equipment to direct traffic around the work area.
• Control oncoming traffic with signs to ensure the road crews are able to operate safely.
• Be knowledgeable of the surrounding roads, so oncoming traffic could be further directed, if they were to stop and ask.
• Communicate with crew members over radios, through hand signals, or flags.
• Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure your safety as well as the safety of those on the roadways.

Candidates Must Be Able To

• Work 8 - 12-hour shift
• Travel out of state for days at a time
• Be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time
• Lift up to 50 pounds (occasionally)
• Be outside in weather elements for extended periods of time
• Have a valid Driver's License with clean driving record (NO DUI's or excessive points)
• Pass a standard criminal background check, work verification check, 10-panel drug screen, and fit for duty physical
