Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience as a Traffic Engineer.
• State Professional Engineer’s License required.
• Familiar with MUTCD, AASHTO, HCM, IES, and other technical resources.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Visa sponsorship is not available; permanent US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with state DOTs, counties, municipalities, and MPOs.
• Identify and pursue new business and project opportunities.
• Design traffic signal systems, lighting, fiber optics, traffic control, signing, and pavement markings.
• Perform traffic operations analyses to support studies.
• Conduct traffic impact analyses to improve flow.
• Optimize signal timing to reduce congestion.
• Analyze traffic and crash data to improve intersection safety.
