Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil or electrical engineering or closely related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant post-education engineering design experience.
  • ETI/Engineer in Training certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Familiarity with DOT advisory circulars and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Develop design plans for transportation systems and traffic signals.
  • Conduct field surveys, data collection, and analysis for project development.
  • Coordinate with authorities, sub-consultants, and clients on improvements.
  • Design traffic signals and communications networks for corridor operations.
  • Ensure conformance with standards, permits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support multi-project execution with QA/QC adherence.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior team members.
