Job summary

Peak Utility Infrastructure is seeking a Traffic Control Supervisor to oversee traffic control operations on road and highway construction projects. You will set up and maintain temporary traffic control, supervise crews, and ensure compliance with MUTCD guidelines and FMCSA regulations.

Must hold a current TCS certificate and be willing to travel; per diem is paid. Strong safety and communication skills are essential to coordinate with dispatch and ensure project timelines are met.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising traffic control teams in construction environments.
• Familiarity with MUTCD guidelines and local requirements.
• Ability to read plans and ensure control plans are followed.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Supervise TCT, laborers, and drivers in traffic control tasks.
• Coordinate assignments with dispatch and equipment truck operations.
• Set up signs, cones, and barricades to manage traffic safely.
• Maintain accurate pre-trip and post-trip paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with diverse teams and customers.
