Job summary

Traffic Engineering Services, a Helix Company, has been in business for 20 years and this is an in‑person position reporting to our Elkridge, MD yard before being transported to the worksite. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and pedestrians on construction sites.

We offer entry level flagger training classes and advanced traffic control courses to advance your journey with us. Highway experience is a plus!

Qualifications

• Ability to direct traffic safely on construction sites.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Driver's license preferred but not required.
• Willingness to complete flagger training.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic flow around construction sites, ensuring safety for both workers and the public.
• Monitor site conditions and report hazards or issues to supervisors.
• Collaborate with crew members to ensure smooth on-site operations.
• Maintain clear communication with team members regarding traffic patterns and safety protocols.
