Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a Traffic Safety Protector to join our field team across Florida sites. Training is provided, no prior experience required. You will set up traffic controls, guide traffic with a stop/slow paddle, and follow safety protocols while working outdoors in various weather conditions.

The role involves standing or walking for extended periods and potential night or weekend shifts. Pay is hourly with overtime, plus benefits; opportunities for advancement exist.

Qualifications

  • Must have valid driver's license.
  • Able to lift 40–50 pounds.
  • Comfort working outdoors in various weather.
  • Willing to work in traffic and diverse conditions.
  • Able to pass pre-hire drug test.
  • Punctual and flexible with shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Setting up cones, signs, and barricades, and dismantling traffic control equipment.
  • Using a stop/slow paddle to guide traffic and monitor site activity.
  • Following all safety protocols learned during training.
  • Communicating effectively with crew members and supervisors.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and safety of vehicles and equipment.
  • Working outdoors in all weather conditions, potentially during night, weekend, or emergency shifts.
  • Standing or walking for extended periods.
