A leading engineering firm in California is seeking a Traffic Control Plan Designer. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in traffic control plans and AutoCAD. Responsibilities include traffic signal design and analysis, and candidates should understand relevant codes and regulations. This hybrid role requires living in specific California areas and occasional in-person meetings.
The Traffic Control Plan Designer will have experience generating traffic control plans. The Designer will develop traffic signal design, traffic analysis, signing and pavement marking designs from general instruction to a detailed finish product. The Designer should have a full understanding of file structure, specifications, industry and client standards related to assigned projects.
This is a Hybrid/primarily remote role that requires the ideal candidate to live within San Jose, Santa Cruz, Fresno, Sacramento, Santa Rosa, or the Bay Area. Currently requires quarterly in-person meetings but travel requirements are subject to change.

This position is an Exempt position, and pays between $55k-90K, annually depending on experience.
