Job summary

Green Mountain Flagging LLC in Vermont seeks a Traffic Control Flagger to help keep motorists, pedestrians, and crews safe in active work zones. No experience required; paid training provided and opportunities for advancement.

Starting pay is $21.50/hour with potential to earn up to $28.25/hour through training and advancement. Night/weekend adds $2/hour; double time for emergency calls and holidays. Weekly pay, safety gear, and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to travel to designated meeting locations or job sites.
• Availability for at least three full weekdays each week.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Vermont Work Zone Certification (paid by GMF).
• Ability to stand and work on your feet for at least eight hours.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 35 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic safely through construction zones.
• Follow safety procedures and Vermont regulations.
• Remain alert to changing traffic patterns and identify hazards.
• Communicate clearly with coworkers, customers, and the public.
• Respond calmly in changing or emergency situations.
