Flagger Force is hiring Traffic Control Flaggers (Crew Members) to help protect workers, drivers, and pedestrians in active work zones. The role offers advancement to Crew Leader in as little as 30–60 days and a path to leadership positions, with paid in-house training and a company vehicle upon promotion.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability, with opportunities for travel as the company expands across the U.S. and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle to reach job sites.
• Satisfactory driving record per company policy.
• Availability Monday–Friday (as early as 6AM).
• Physical endurance: stand 8–12 hours, walk 1–2 miles, lift 30–50 lbs.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork and reliability.
• Steel-toe or composite-toe boots above ankle height.
• Approved two-way radios.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

Traffic Control Flaggers (Crew Members) are responsible for guiding traffic safely through work zones using appropriate equipment and communication. They assist Crew Leaders in setting up and maintaining work zones.

As a Traffic Control Flagger (Crew Member), you will:

• Set up and maintain safe temporary traffic control work zones

• Control traffic flow to protect motorists, pedestrians, and clients

• Work as part of a team to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites

• Gain hands‑on experience in the traffic control industry

Qualifications

What You Need to Succeed:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Valid driver’s license and a reliable personal vehicle required
  • Employees must be able to drive themselves to and from job sites (ride‑sharing or drop‑offs not permitted).

• Satisfactory driving record that meets company vehicle driving requirements

  • Verified through a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Review

• Availability Monday–Friday (as early as 6AM – late afternoon)

• Physical endurance – Ability to stand for 8-12 hours, walk 1-2 miles per day, lift up to 30-50 lbs, and work outdoors in various conditions

• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability

• Obtain steel-toe or composite-toe boots that lace above the ankles and are at least 6″ in height.

• Approved two-way radios
