Job summary

S&L Industrial is seeking a Traffic Control Estimator to join our in-person team in Billings, MT or Cowley, WY. You will prepare accurate estimates for traffic control projects and collaborate with Operations and our Corporate Estimating Team to win bids and deliver safe roadway solutions.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of estimating experience in traffic control or related fields, proficiency with Bid2Win is a plus, and strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of traffic control estimating experience.
• Experience estimating traffic control, pavement marking, roadway safety, or highway construction projects preferred.
• Experience with estimating software such as Bid2Win is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
• Develop and submit competitive bids and proposals.

Position Summary

The Traffic Control Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for traffic control projects while supporting business development and operational success. • Experience with estimating software such as Bid2Win is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20%.
