Job summary

ECM Energy is hiring Road Traffic Attendants to direct traffic and pedestrians around road closures near construction or events. You will use signs to ensure safety for workers and the public. The role requires you to be 18+, have a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.

Daily duties include clear communication, teamwork, and the ability to read and follow directions. Full-time, benefits after 30 days, with overtime opportunities. Robinson Office, Pittsburgh area.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work.
• Must have reliable transportation or access to a vehicle.
• Strong reading and writing ability and the ability to follow directions.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work well in a team.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Position Description:

Road Traffic Attendants manually direct road traffic and pedestrian flows on, near, or adjacent to roads during road closures or part road closures due to construction, maintenance or roadside works; public events; or emergency responses using signs and devices to ensure the safety of workers, motorists and pedestrians.

Applicants MUST:

1) Be 18 years or older

2) Have a valid driver's license

3) Have their own reliable transportation

4) Be able to read, write and follow direction

5) Be able to effectively communicate and work within a team environment

6) Have a High School Diploma or GED
