Job summary

Corning Incorporated in Keller, TX, is seeking a production scheduling and shipping coordinator to oversee finished goods shipments from the Keller Plant, ensuring on‑time delivery, accurate paperwork, and SAP transactions.

You will schedule freight, perform cycle counts, maintain shipping records, coordinate cable pulls, and communicate with carriers, CSRs, customers, and internal teams; 1–3 years of related experience and a high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• SAP/ERP experience preferred.
• Strong organization, communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.

Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry‑leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry. This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical‑based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical‑based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Role Purpose

Oversee finished goods shipments from the Keller Plant, ensuring on‑time delivery, accurate paperwork, and error‑free SAP inventory transactions.

Experience/Education – Required

• 1–3 years of production scheduling, supply chain, warehouse, or related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• SAP/ERP experience preferred.
• Strong organization, communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.

Experience/Education – Desired

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• APICS or CSCMP certification a plus.

Work Hours and Experience

• Monday–Friday.
• Off‑shift/on‑call support as needed.

The range for this position is $41,286.00 - $56,768.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job‑related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
