Department: Transportation

Location: Raleigh, NC

Company Overview:
DRMP is expanding its transportation engineering services to serve clients in the Mid-Atlantic region, including the Carolinas and Virginia.

Position Overview:
This role involves participating in traffic analysis projects, collaborating with project managers, and supporting client communications. Mentoring new associates and ensuring project documentation are also key responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform engineering calculations and analyses based on design criteria.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients.
  • Maintain project and permitting updates.
  • Schedule and document meetings.
  • Support communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Analyze technical problems and develop solutions.
  • Coordinate with review agencies for transportation projects.
  • Mentor new team members.
  • Ensure timely submission of project data and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; E.I. certification required in the work state, or an associate’s/technical degree in a related field.
  • 0-4 years of experience in public/private projects, preferably in A/E/C industry.
  • Experience with Synchro/SimTraffic and HCS.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of project management procedures.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong report writing and cost estimation skills.
