Location: Raleigh, NC
Company Overview:
DRMP is expanding its transportation engineering services to serve clients in the Mid-Atlantic region, including the Carolinas and Virginia.
Position Overview:
This role involves participating in traffic analysis projects, collaborating with project managers, and supporting client communications. Mentoring new associates and ensuring project documentation are also key responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform engineering calculations and analyses based on design criteria.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients.
- Maintain project and permitting updates.
- Schedule and document meetings.
- Support communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Analyze technical problems and develop solutions.
- Coordinate with review agencies for transportation projects.
- Mentor new team members.
- Ensure timely submission of project data and reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; E.I. certification required in the work state, or an associate’s/technical degree in a related field.
- 0-4 years of experience in public/private projects, preferably in A/E/C industry.
- Experience with Synchro/SimTraffic and HCS.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of project management procedures.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Strong report writing and cost estimation skills.
