Job summary

Group One Trading, a dynamic options trading firm in Chicago, invites motivated students to join as Software Developer Interns. You’ll be mentored by senior developers and gain hands-on experience with electronic trading systems built on the .NET platform using C#.

You’ll begin with orientation, learn team roles, and contribute to projects with real implications for our traders. We welcome applicants from non-traditional backgrounds and value collaboration across our multi-location business.

Qualifications

• Active student during Fall semester in CS/CE or related field.
• Familiarity with C-style OOP languages (C#, Java, C++, Obj-C).
• Solid CS fundamentals and desire to learn and grow.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Orientation and familiarization with our environment and infrastructure.
• Learn Dev team roles and best practices to contribute effectively.
• Engage in projects with real implications for traders.
