Hard Rock Digital is building a fast-moving Trading Origination desk focused on pricing with in-house models. As a Trading Intelligence Analyst, you will surface market-moving information from trusted sources and use AI tools to get that intelligence to Traders quickly.

You will combine deep sports knowledge with data analysis, emulate smart workflows, and develop your own automation skills. This role includes in-person collaboration sessions and a dynamic, high-energy trading culture.

What’s the position?

Trading Origination is a recently formed team responsible for pricing provided by our in-house models. As a Trading Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for keeping our Traders ahead of the game, surfacing breaking news, injury updates, and market-moving information from trustworthy sources, and using AI and automation to get that intelligence in front of the desk faster.

Success in this role means more than fast reporting. It requires knowing which sources to trust, spotting what actually moves a line, and staying a step ahead of the next request rather than just keeping up with the last one. By combining sharp sport knowledge with an appetite for AI-driven tools, you will help build a faster, leaner Trading Origination desk, while developing the skills you need to become a Trader yourself.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor a wide range of news sources, including wire services, injury reports, beat reporters, official league feeds, and social media, to surface information that could move markets

• Know which sources are trustworthy and which aren’t, and build a track record for speed and accuracy that Traders can rely on

• Relay time-critical news to Traders quickly and clearly, so game states and prices reflect the latest information

• Monitor bet flow and market activity, helping spot unusual patterns or opportunities that need a Trader’s attention

• Check our odds and markets against competitors, flagging any discrepancies that affect our competitiveness

• Build and refine AI-assisted workflows using our in-house tools to speed up news gathering, triage, and reporting, growing your own automation and analytical skills as the role develops

• Support Traders with data-related projects and ad-hoc research as required

• Participate in in-person sessions with the team as required for collaboration, training, and planning purposes

• A genuine ambition to develop into a Trader, with a good understanding of probability and betting odds

• A natural comfort with AI tools, and the drive to keep finding smarter ways to do the job

• Comfortable working with data, utilising tools like Excel and SQL to analyse trends and inform decisions

• A sharp eye for detail, with good instincts for spotting when something needs a Trader’s attention

• Highly motivated and dependable

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
