Job summary

A leading trading firm in Chicago is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Tools Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining trading tools for Cumberland and FICC options trading desks. Ideal candidates have a strong background in Python, Java, and C++, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in software development. The position offers a competitive salary range of $175,000 to $225,000 and eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience using Python, Java, C++ and comfortable in multiple languages.
• Worked directly with end customers on production systems.
• Ability to dive deep into complex problems and spot risks early.

Responsibilities

• Work with best-in-class trading tools for Cumberland and FICC options trading desks.
• Take full ownership of products from prototype to stable production.
• Embed with trading desks and build ergonomic, performant solutions.
