Job summary

Underdog is seeking a Trading Assistant to join our remote-first team. You will grade projections, settle games, and support the Trading team by posting and pricing markets. This is a full-time hourly role requiring night and weekend availability as markets run in real time.

Responsibilities include entering player and game stats, tracking live games, and supporting Esports titles like Counter-Strike 2, League of Legends, and Valorant. Growth in scope is expected with performance.

What you'll do:

• As a Trading Assistant, you'll be responsible for grading our projections, and settling games in a timely manner. Additionally, you'll support the Trading team by working on trading shifts, where you will manage posting and pricing of markets. This is a Full Time hourly position; candidates must be able to work nights and weekends.
• Enter player and game stats
• Track games we offer in the app to ensure entries are paid with correct stats as markets are determined in real time
• Work within operations for our Esports titles such as Counter-Strike 2, League of Legends, Valorant and more.
• Take on more responsibilities as you grow into the role

• An Esports fanatic who is knowledgeable about DFS and Fantasy sports props

• Ability to work nights and weekends around the sports calendar

Bonus points if you have:

• Prior gaming/sports betting experience
• Prior experience with statistics, score keeping, or other detail oriented tasks
• Prior startup experience

Our target compensation rate for this position is $20/hr, plus target equity. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, skills and expertise, interview performance, and other market considerations.
