Job summary

ATLAS SP Partners in New York seeks an Analyst to support the growth of our Atlas Secondary Trading platform, covering Non-Agency RMBS and ABS. The role extends the trading capacity of the desk and strengthens client connectivity with Sales & Distribution to increase liquidity in securitized products.

You will develop and manage institutional relationships, assist with trade capture and bond cash flow analysis, evaluate hedging strategies, and coordinate with clients while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 1–2 years of securitized products trading, financing distribution, capital markets, or related institutional markets roles.
• Understanding of structured credit, asset-backed finance, warehouse lending, and financing transactions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

We are seeking an Analyst to support the growth of our Atlas Secondary Trading platform covering primarily Non-Agency RMBS and ABS products. This individual will be responsible for extending the Trading capacity of the desk while also partnering closely with the Sales & Distribution team to further advance our client connectivity in Secondary Markets, depth of market color and breadth of liquidity in Securitized Products securities.

The successful candidate will develop, support and manage institutional relationships and Atlas partnerships to provide liquidity and investment opportunities to banks, asset managers, insurance companies, hedge funds, private credit funds, and other institutional investors. The Analyst under Global Business Services working alongside the Trading desk will provide support for the business such as trade capture, bond cash flow analysis, hedging strategy evaluation and interacting closely with clients.

Key Responsibilities

Trading & Market Intelligence

• Provide clients with market color, relative value analysis, and inventory / trading opportunities.
• Assist with secondary market transactions and hedging trades.
• Work with Trading to develop and enhance modeling, market analysis and market commentary.
• Monitor market developments, spreads, issuance activity, and investor flows.
• Communicate client feedback and market intelligence to senior management and investment teams.

Transaction Execution & Client Relationship Management

• Support transaction structuring, investor outreach, pricing discussions, and execution processes.
• Prepare and deliver investor presentations, market commentary and transaction updates.
• Develop and manage relationships with institutional investors, banks, insurance companies, private credit funds, hedge funds, and other market participants.
• Help create new client opportunities and expand existing relationships across financing and investment products, partnering with core coverage / Sales & Distribution / origination teams
• Market structured credit investments and financing solutions to institutional clients.
• Identify investor demand, market trends, and capital deployment opportunities.
• Contribute to strategic growth initiatives within structured products and financing.

Risk Management & Compliance

• Monitor and manage overall risk profile of the portfolio / trading desk against risk limits.
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, internal policies, and compliance standards.
• Maintain required registrations and licenses.
• Promote a culture of strong risk management and client-first execution.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience of securitized products trading, financing distribution, capital markets, or related institutional markets roles.
• Understanding of structured credit, asset-backed finance, warehouse lending, and financing transactions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Preferred

• Experience with Non-Agency RMBS, ABS, CLOs, warehouse facilities, asset-backed lending, repo financing, or specialty finance transactions.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg, Intex, MarketAxess, Tradeweb, and other market platforms.
• FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 (or ability to obtain).

Base Salary Range

$90,000 - $110,000

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed here.
