Job summary

Wolverine Trading, LLC is seeking a Trading Applications Support professional to join our Operations team in Chicago. You will support existing trading systems for internal and external clients in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage user logins and configurations, provide 1st-level support via phone, email and IMs, coordinate with exchanges and vendors, work with developers to troubleshoot and document issues, and assist with special projects while aiming for reliable, scalable software

Qualifications

• Must have 2-3 years of Financial Services experience.
• Understand trading industry concepts and terminology.
• Excellent customer support and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Windows operating system is a plus.

Description

Support existing trading systems for internal and external customers in a fast-paced growing environment.

What You’ll Do

• Create, modify, and maintain user logins and account configurations within WEX systems.
• Provide 1st level support to all trading application users; respond to support requests via phone, email and IMs
• Work with vendors (Exchanges, ECNs, etc.) to resolve production issues
• Work with developers to improve software and troubleshoot problems
• Maintain documentation of support processes, ongoing technical issues, and workarounds
• Assist with resolving clearing issues
• Work on special projects as necessary

What We’re Looking For

• Must have proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Must have excellent customer support and communication skills
• Must have an understanding of trading industry concepts and terminology
• A working knowledge of finance industry clearing is a plus
• Troubleshooting experience in financial trading applications, similar to Reuters, TT, PATS, Bloomberg, and GL Trade is a plus.
• Proficiency with the Windows operating system is a plus
• Self-motivated, energetic and results-orientated
• 2-3 years of Financial Services experience is preferred

The base compensation range for this role is approximately $80,000-$100,000 contingent on experience. Wolverine Execution Service's total compensation model includes base salary and an annual discretionary bonus.
