Job summary

AtWork Personnel is seeking a skilled Exhibit Carpenter / Fabricator in Hebron, KY for a fast-paced tradeshow environment. The role focuses on producing and repairing custom exhibits, retail displays, and permanent structures from drawings and specifications.

The position requires experience with carpentry, cabinet making, and woodwork, plus the ability to read drawings, operate woodworking tools, and lift heavy loads.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry, cabinet building, woodworking furniture, or display fixtures.
• Skilled with woodworking saws, power tools, and hand tools.
• Able to read scaled drawings and work orders.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds and handle physical work.
• Willing to work overtime/weekends during peak seasons.
• Knowledge of CNC setup, machining, and operation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Laminate exhibit and display components.
• Read scaled drawings to produce components and assemblies.
• Construct and refurbish exhibit, retail, and permanent structures.
• Work with plywood, MDF, acrylic, and metal.
• Install lighting, audio/visual, and graphic components per drawings.
• Assemble and install custom structures in tradeshow, retail, and corporate environments.
• Package crates and ship materials safely.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment.
• Perform raw material inventory cycle counts when assigned.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Communicate professionally with coworkers, supervisors, and customers.
